About the blog
I created the Bits of Polish blog with learners of Polish, both beginning and more advanced, in mind. My intention is to follow the rule that a language – both its grammar and vocabulary – is best learned through looking at plenty of examples. That’s why I would like to focus on example sentences and phrases instead of (or accompanying) vocabulary lists and grammar rules, so that you can see how they’re used in colloquial, everyday Polish.
If you have any remarks or suggestions, you’re welcome to leave your comments to the posts or contact me at alicja@bitsofpolish.net
About the author
My name is Alicja Kwiatkowska, I’m originally from Szczecin in the north-west of Poland, and I currently live in Sweden, where I study English and general linguistics. Languages and linguistics are my greatest interest, and I think helping others learn my native tongue – which I know many consider particularly difficult – is a really interesting and insightful experience.
